The Only Essex Way Ultra 50k

The Only Essex Way Ultra 50k running race starts in West Bergholt - Back in 2026

Registration – Harwich – will be open 7.30am – 8.30am, here you will receive your race number, timing chip and event T-Shirt.

Coach transport – we will leave the race HQ / registration /finish at 9.15am. It is your responsibility to be on the bus as it will be leaving promptly to take you to the race start.

Race Briefing will be at 9.00am, after close of registration.

Kit List for this race has been planned to help create a fast race through a relatively straightforward landscape in summertime (Kit List). Familiarise yourself with the mandatory kit required.

Cut Off for the 50k is 14 hours making it an ideal race for a first ultra.

The Race HQ will be open from 3.30am

Checkpoints will have water, squash, coke and a good mixture of sweet and savoury snacks such as sausages, crisps, pretzels, cake, chocolate, sweets, fruit, nuts etc.

The 50k is CUPLESS – in line with most other 50k races you will be expected to run with your own cup. (info)
